It’s been a while since i’ve posted my workouts, and i thought today was a good day to resume its publication. I hope everyone is well this week. I started class at school so i am there three days out of the week, and per usual with the beginning of each academic semester thus far, i immediately banished myself from taking part in activities that i enjoy. that included working out. i guess i let my anxieties get to me. but today, no excuses, i am ready to get back into my gym routine.
Without further ado, here’s what i worked on today.
• i am beginning with 30 minutes on the treadmill, increasing speed and incline throughout. i intended to only go 20 minutes but today got into a zone and i just wanted to keep charging ahead!
•Next, i walked downstairs and started my weights workout with parallel bar leg lifts. i propped my elbows on the bars and let my legs hang below me. then i brought my knees to my chest. 4×10 reps.
• hamstring curls, 4×10.
• Then, i did a core circuit. It consisted of crunches, v-ups and russian twists. 4×10 v-ups, 4×25 russian twists.
•Finally, i did glute presses, slowly increasing the weight each set.
NOTE: a lot of my workouts are pretty repetitive, so from now on im going to try to switch it up at the gym and do workouts i haven’t done in a while.
