When you struggle with your mental health, finding a livable balance can be challenging. The anxieties that come along with your conditions can be overwhelming, and cause you to feel fragile and bound to failure.
In the poem written by k.y. robinson, titled “when you’re feeling low,” she resonates with these feelings while also ending on an uplifting note that assures the reader they can, in fact, conquer their demons and heal. To read this poem, look below.
The earnest hopefulness that robinson demonstrates in the final stanza is what brings the poem into what I would define as a “self-help” genre. This is something a person can read when they need to be reminded that everything will be okay.
I hope this poem speaks to you. Thank you for taking a read!
